I was thinking about prayers one day, and due to that part of me that is creative, I could visualize prayers sailing across the sky and sliding down the rainbow into God's lap. Holding that picture in my mind, I began composing a song. In the song I spoke of a rainbow dancing in the sky and wondered where it might end up as it stretched out so high up. I also spoke of messages riding along on the rainbows, but at no time did I utter the word "prayers" nor did I mention "God" though these were thoughts in my mind.
Shortly after this, I made a visit to the city where my youngest granddaughter Jani lives. We were outside raking leaves and I decided to teach three-year-old Jani the Rainbow song. I just jumped right in and began singing it over and over.
Jani got all excited and ran over to me and began tugging on my slacks, "Grandma, grandma, I know " she said.
"Know what, Jani?" I asked her
"I know where they taking the messages!", she said. "Grandma, they taking the messages to God"
I can see a rainbow, dancing in the sky
Where can it be going to, flying there so high?
Is it taking messages, who can they be to?
I can see a rainbow, can't you?
