A Divine Set Up |

Yesterday I was guided to pick up a book of short inspirational stories I hadn't read in a while. I had a pretty busy day happening and generously "allowed" myself to read at least the intro. Despite feeling I was using up my precious time on such a luxury as reading, the words were exactly what I needed to hear. Feeling inspired, I took care of some of the planned work and then texted Gary, my significant other, to see if he would be up for taking a trip to the store with me. I didn't get a response and in 20 minutes tried again. It was later than usual when Gary texted that he was on his way home though still no response to my previous texts. So I called him. The phone rang a few times, then immediately after it sounded like someone had picked up, the line went dead. I called again. Turns out Gary never received the text I sent or the first phone call! How strange. Gary had had a rough day at work and was concerned about certain things so the trip to the store was put off while we talked over important issues. Ironically, the short introduction in the book I read earlier contained a message Gary needed to hear too. Early the next morning we ventured out to the store, hoping to make the purchases and return in time for Gary to make it to work - without being late. We waited for the two sales people to acknowledge us. One left without saying a word but the other turned out to be very helpful. We were chatting and I mentioned I do angel therapy and intuitive readings, helping people connect with their angels. Her response was, "Oh? That's interesting." I shared a bit more of my training and each time the response was the same. I wasn't sure whether she was intrigued, thought I was a lunatic, or simply didn't believe in the kind of work I do. I laughed a bit and said, "It might sound a bit out there but this work really can help a lot of people." In that instant she let down her guard and shared that she was genuinely interested. It turns out her father had taken his life and her mother had died of a stroke not too long after and she had a lot of questions because she didn't seem to feel either of them around her. We talked and I shared what I've learned in my training and what resonates as truth to me. As she continued to help us, I believe I was able to help her. In fact, at one point she was holding back (good) tears and was so immersed in the message received she forgot some of the store's data needed for an order form. Then this sweet lady shared how she was so grateful for the people she met where she worked. She wasn't too keen that her job was for this particular store but the people were a blessing. I realized and openly shared with her that those people were the reason she worked where she did and that God was using her in this location to work through her and help others. Her energy shifted as she recognized the truth in this and was grateful for the message. Gary and I joked about not being able to make it there last night and the sales woman said she was happy we didn't come last night because she wouldn't have been there. We closed the sale and got Gary home in the exact amount of time for him to get to work as needed. When I look at how everything unfolded I can't help but to think it was a divine set up! The book I just had to pick up - and only read the introduction - which just happened to help me with one issue and Gary with another... The text messages which didn't go through and then the phone call that didn't make it and ended up delaying us... The issue that came up at Gary's work which needed to be addressed and made it too late to go to the store all togeth... The other sales person leaving and it coming down to the conversation at hand between us and the woman who was the... Last night the timing and chaos of it all seemed completely messed up! This morning it became crystal clear there was a higher force at work behind the scenes and everything went exactly as it should. Spirit had set us up for a heavenly encounter that helped both Gary and I and the person we had just met. Although they may seem frustrating at first Divine set ups are truly a blessing!
